Major Accident in Jammu: School bus overturns while returning from picnic, over 25 children and 6 teachers injured

All the injured children were immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. No information has yet been received about the severity of the injuries.

In a horrific accident, close to 25 children were injured in a road accident on the Ring Road near Bishnah in Jammu on Saturday. The bus they were travelling in overturned after hitting a divider.

The incident occurred when the children were returning from a picnic. The school bus supposedly lost balance after striking the road divider and overturned on the Ring Road near Bishnah.

All the injured children were immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. No information has yet been received about the severity of the injuries. Police and local authorities reached the spot soon after the incident happened and initiated further action.

As per the Pincipal GMC school Jammu from 25 to 30 children were injured, including teachers and a cook. She said “approximately 25 to 30 children were injured, including teachers and cook. The children with minor injuries were handed over to their parents at the Bishnah hospital, while those with serious injuries were brought to Jammu Medical College.”
