“We will declare the date very soon. We are talking to all political parties and the date will be announced without any delay,” said the Congress leader.

However, the Congress leader said the meeting will be held before the Monsoon Session of the Parliament begins. It is worth noting that the Monsoon Session, scheduled to commence on July 20, will be held in the newly-inaugurated Parliament building.

The development came in after Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) leader Ajit Pawar and 8 colleagues joined the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government. While Pawar was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, the other MLAs took oath as ministers.

The action initiated tension among the NCP top leadership and Ajit Pawar. Soon after the development NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, in a press conference, said that he would rebuild the party again.

The First meeting of key opposition parties was held in Bihar’s capital Patna on June 23. Sixteen Parties including Congress, TMC, DMK, JD(U), and Samajwadi Party sat together in Bihar’s capital to decide a roadmap to fight against BJP in the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
