13-Year-Old’s Complaint Leads To Teacher’s Public Humiliation In Maharashtra

The incident came to light when a 13-year-old girl refused to attend her tuition classes. When her parents asked why, she revealed the tuition teacher’s alleged misconduct. The girl’s parents, along with other locals, then dragged the teacher out of his classes in Virar, beat him, stripped him, and paraded him, accusing him of also misbehaving with other girl students, according to an official.

Teacher In Custody; FIR To Be Filed: Senior Inspector

Senior Inspector Vijay Pawar of Virar police station informed reporters that the teacher has been taken into custody, and the police are recording statements. He added that an FIR will be registered against the tuition teacher.
