A three-year old girl dies after her uncle allegedly slapped her. The 38-year old accused has been arrested for allegedly killing his niece. The incident came to light on November 18, when the girl was reported missing.
The girl went missing from near her house situated in Prem Nagar in Ulhasnagar. She went missing on November 18 and found dead on Thursday, November 21.
As per media reports the accused confessed the crime during interrogation but mentioned that he didn’t killed her intentionally. He stated that he was playing with the girl and jokingly slapped her.
The police stated that the accused claimed that he was playing with the girl and jokingly slapped her and then she collides with slab in the kitchen, which leads to her death.
The Senior Inspector from Hill Line police station, Anil Jagtap stated that, the uncle of the girl set her on fire, to hide the evidence, as per media reports.
As per reports the body of the toddler was found in the bushes near Ulhasnagar of Thane District. The body of the girl was found two days later from the day she went missing.
