Palghar District Superintendent informed the media that Cyrus Mistry died on the spot. Another occupant of the car was also killed on the spot while two others were admitted to hospital with serious injuries.

Palghar (Maharashtra): Noted industrialist Cyrus Mistry died on Sunday after his car met with an accident at Palghar in Maharashtra.

He was reportedly travelling to Mumbai from Ahmedabad when his vehicle hit the divider at high speed at around half past three in the afternoon.

Cyrus Mistry was the Chairman of Tata Industries Group till 2016.
