Eknath Shinde fell sick when he reached his native place. The doctors asked him to take rest, as per media reports.

Mahayuti Alliance which is set to form government in Maharashtra after getting a landslide victory in election. The suspense over the Maharashtra CM post continues. The result for the election on was on November 23, 2024, but the decision regarding the CM post is yet to be made.

Mahayuti is likely to form government in Maharashtra on December 5, 2024. Devendra Fadnavis is the frontrunner for the post of CM, as per media reports.

Earlier Maharashtra Caretaker CM Eknath Shinde, NCP Chief Ajit Pawar and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis had meeting with the BJP National President & Union Minister JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.

Further the Mahayuti alliance had planned on Friday. The meeting got postponed and is now expected to happen on Sunday, as per media reports. The plan changed as Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde heads towards his native place, Satara.

Mahayuti had a landslide victory in Maharashtra election 2024. They in total bagged 230 seats out of 288. On the other hand, Maha Vikas Aghadi failed to get the majority. They were only able to each till mark of 46 seats.
