Wait, What? Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Said India Is At Number One Position | WATCH

In his latest statement over the Haryana assembly election results, Maharsdhtra CM Eknath Shinde praised the BJP and said that India is at the number one position under the Modi government.

The BJP came up with flying colours in the Haryana assembly elections bagging 48 seats out of 90, a massive score that was supposedly unprecedented considering the farmer’s protest and the wrestler’s protest in the state. The NDA, now basking in the glory of what it has achieved, is all set to gear up for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Congratulating the BJP and the voters of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde was all praises for the leadership of Narendra Modi and his double-engine module.

Eknath Shinde filled with joy and gratitude

While rejoicing about the poll results, he said that the victory was very welcoming and congratulated Haryana and PM Narendra Modi. Citing the hat-trick in the state, he said that Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister for the third time and Haryana has given the mandate to the BJP for the third consecutive term. It goes for the efforts of the party workers of the BJP, NDA and RSS.

Taking a dig at the statements given by the Congress party, Shinde said that in the early trends when INC was leading, they were celebrating, playing drums and distributing jalebis. And when they lost in the overall counting, EVM was blamed. He called it the dual characteristic of the party.

India is number one: Shinde

What he said thereafter was not just astonishing but went out of proportion. While appreciating the work of the Modi government and comparing it with the work of Congress in the last 50-60 years, Shinde said that today there is a flow of development across the nation, India is on the way to financial progress, the nation stands on number one in the world and the popularity of PM Narendra Modi stands on number one not just in India but across the world.

Maharashtra CM lost the track?

The nation that apparently stands at number one in Eknath Shinde’s dictionary, actually bags the number one position in no other category than population, a criteria that nobody would boast of. Though the Chief Minister didn’t exactly mention the criteria where he sees India as number one, he quoted the ranking while stating the development India has attained in the last ten years.
