Maharashtra is ready to hold its Assembly election on November 20, 2024. The day will see clash between Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi. The voting in Maharashtra will be done in single phase only. The result for the election will be out on November 23, 2024.
In Maharashtra voting will be conducted for 288 assembly seats, in single phase. Out of the total assembly seats, 234 come under general category, 29 are reserved for the Scheduled Castes and 25 for the Scheduled Tribes.
Under Mahayuti alliance comes, BJP, Shiv Sena-Eknath Shinde and NCP-Ajit Pawar. On the other hand Maha Vikar Aghadi have, Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP-Sharad Pawar, and Congress.

There are 1,00,186 polling station across 52,789 locations in Maharashtra. Under this comes 530 model polling stations, 388 polling stations are managed by the women and 299 are managed by person with disabilities.
Total 4,140 candidates are there for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. ECI mentioned in press conference that, there are total 9.63 crore voters in Maharashtra.
