Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: A massive fire broke out in Sector 18, Shankaracharya Marg of Maha Kumbh Mela Kshetra on Friday, February 7, 2025. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot. According to SP Sarvesh Kumar Mishra, there has been no loss of lives and efforts are underway to find out the cause behind the fire. CFO Pramod Sharma said that the fire began from ISKCON and ignited other tents. At least 20-22 tents have been burnt.

15 Tents On Fire In Prayagraj
The tragedy occurred shortly after another fire incident last week, where 15 tents in an open area in Prayagraj were burnt down to ashes. The event took place within the Chatnag Ghat Police Station area limits, according to reports. The fire was extinguished and no casualties were reported.
Fire Breaks Out In West Bengal’s Jute Factory
In yet another incident from West Bengal’s Howrah district that occurred earlier in the day, a massive flame erupted at a jute factory. The footage captured on the spot showed the fire-fighters trying to douse the flames. No injuries have been reported so far. Investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire.
Fire Breaks Out At Slum Cluster In New Delhi
A fire also broke out at a slum cluster in New Delhi’s Rohini, Sector 28, on Friday. According to the Delhi Fire Service, as many as 12 fire tenders were deployed on the spot. The fire extended to a total of 20 huts in the slum and also spread to a scrap godown.
