Maha Kumbh 2025: The world’s biggest religious gathering saw devotees queuing for ‘Snan’ or holy dip at Triveni Sangam on the occasion of ‘Paush Purnima’. People from all over the world are arriving in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj to experience the cultural significance of the grand event and take a holy dip at the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
Among them, a Russian devotee at the Maha Kumbh Mela shared her heartfelt feelings about India and its people. She said, “Mera Bharat Mahaan. India is a great country. We are here at Kumbh Mela for the first time. Here we can see the real India – the true power lies in the people of India. I am shaking because of the vibe of the people of this holy place. I love India…”

The Maha Kumbh is being celebrated after 12 years, and more than 40 crore devotees are expected to attend the grand event. The Maha Kumbh begins today and concludes on February 26, 2025.
