Maha Kumbh 2025 LIVE: Mahakumbh commenced with great enthusiasm in Prayagraj. Devotees on Tuesday (January 14, 2025) took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Makar Sankranti which marks the first ‘Amrit Snan’ of the Mahakumbh.
Around 16 million people on Monday took the holy dip on the ghats of Sangam, on ‘Paush Purnima,’ the first day of Maha Kumbh. The World’s largest religious gathering is being celebrated after 12 years, and over 45 crore devotees are expected for the event. The Maha Kumbh will conclude on February 26.

Prayagraj, UP: Priyamadasi, a Russian devotee said, "I live in Vrindavan but I am basically from Russia. We came here under the guidance of our guru with the purpose of preaching Sanatana Dharma. We want to share this knowledge with people. We brought the Bhagavad Gita. We want to remind people about their real life and the dharma and how can people stay happy in this world. The arrangements are very nice."
