The auspicious occasion for lakhs of Hindus in India has arrived as Mahakumbh is all set to kickstart from January 14 in Prayagraj. The preparations for the mega event is in full swing and over 20 crore devotees are expected to visit the ‘Sangam’ city and take a dip in river Ganga.

Many devotees have started to plan their journey, the Indian railways has come up with a budget-friendly tour package, in which people can visit the Sangam city in less money. The details are mentioned below:

In a good move for the lakhs of railway passengers across the country, the IRCTC has launched a special Maha Kumbh tour package in which the devotees can enjoy the auspicious Maha Kumbh fair which is held every 12 years. The Indian Railways have announced different packages into the matter. IRCTC have Maha Kumbh Punya Kshetra Yatra which will begin from February 18, 2025, and will be a week-long journey. It will begin from Coimbatore and end in Ayodhya.

Faresa Of Tour Packages

If any passenger wishes to take benefits of the tour package, then he/she will atleast have to spend INR 26,320. The train which will be run during the journey of the passengers in the tour package has been named Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. The train will consist of economy class, for which a person will have to spend INR 26,230 whereas for children the price will raise to INR 25,420. Apart from these budget-friendly tour packages, if an individual prefers comfort and he will have to spend INR 41,900 per person and INR 40,630 for children. The costs consists of seven days and eight nights by the IRCTC.
