The biggest fair of the country ‘Maha Kumbh’ is going to witness the second Amrit snan of the Mauni Amavasya. According to media reports, millions of devotees are expected to visit on January 29, on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya.
The Prayagraj fair began on January 13, 2025 and it will end on February 2025 on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. There are various arrangements made for the second Amrit Snan on the Mauni Amavasya by the administration.
There are several steps taken for smooth functioning of the fair. Here are the following steps-
- Vehicles will be restricted to enter the ‘Maha Kumbh’ region to avoid any type of congestion and maintain safety.
- The Maha Kumbh region has been set as a ‘NO VIP Zone’ to have smooth movement in the region and maintain the safety of everyone.
- The Traditional Akharas will be permitted entry solely during specific time slot.
Parking Arrangement
There are several parking area developed for the vehicles visiting the city. These parking areas are made across the Prayagraj city.
- Kali-2 Parking- Located Near Alopi Devi Temple.
- Baghada Parking- Located Near the Water tank at the base of Bakshi Dam.
- Nagavasuki Parking- Located near Hasimpur Bridge.
- IERT Ground Parking- Created for the devotees visiting the city via Mazar Square.
- Gangeshwar Mahadev Parking- Located near the Gangeshwar Temple.
- CMP Degree College and KP Ground Parking- Created for the people using MG Marg.
