Maha Kumbh 2025: Fire Breaks Out At Tent In Prayagraj Fair

The fire engulfed at a tent in Maha Kumbh fair.

A massive fire Breaks out at ongoing Maha Kumbh Fair held at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. As per police, fire has been brought under control. The fire engulfed at tent in Maha Kumbh fair. Fire tenders reached on the spot to control the fire flames that erupted in the fair.

The incident took place on Sunday. Speaking to ANI, Maha Kumbh Mela DIG, Vaibhav Krishna said that, “The fire broke out in tents of Gita Press. There are no reports of any casualties. A survey is being conducted to ascertain the damage caused by the fire. The fire has been brought under control. It is a matter of investigation (cause behind the fire incident ). Only tents and some things have been burnt.”

Speaking to ANI, MK Sharma, DIG NDRF says, “All the teams present here worked together and brought the fire under control. Four teams of NDRF are here.”

The fair started from January 13, 2025 and will be ending on auspicious day of Maha Shivratri February 26, 2025.
