Earthquake in Manipur: The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported a magnitude 4.0 earthquake in Manipur’s Ukhrul on Saturday morning. The earthquake struck at 6.14 a.m. on Saturday, according to the NCS.
The tremor was 10 kilometres deep, according to the report. More information is awaited.
On Friday night, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake rocked portions of western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The quake struck the region around 9.31 p.m., with its epicentre in Shamli, according to the country’s nodal body for monitoring earthquake activity.

A month ago in January strong trmor jolted Delhi-NCR regions. Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Delhi and Noida in Uttar Pradesh. After which, people vacated their buildings and came to road.
Earlier, two months back an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter Scale struck Chamba, Himachal Pradesh on December 22, 2022. The tremors were felt in Chamba, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
