Madhya Pradesh: A shocking and disturbing incident has emerged from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa City. A video of a young boy beating a girl in public has gone viral on social media platforms. The event unfolded in Atal Kunj in Chowpatty, Dhekaha, one of the busiest areas within the Civil Line police station limits. The incident, captured on camera, shows the boy brutally slapping and dragging the girl by pulling her hair.
Onlookers Stand And Watch The Event Unfold
The accused even broke her mobile phone by thrashing it on the ground. Meanwhile, onlookers and passersby stood and watched the horrific scene unfold in broad daylight. The girl has not yet complained to the police, however, after the video started circulating online, the police swung into action. A case has been registered and efforts are on to search for the boy.

Efforts Underway To Identify The Boy & Girl
Police are also trying to identify the girl, after which further action will be taken. It can be seen in the video that the boy comes to Chowpatty on his bike, parks it on the side, and talks to the girl for a few seconds. He then starts beating and abusing her consistently while onlookers stand and watch them. No one stopped him or tried to save the girl. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV camera installed in a nearby building.
Love Affair Suspected
After the accused boy throws the mobile phone on the ground, the girl picks it up and starts leaving. They subsequently moved out of the camera’s range, therefore the aftermath could not be recorded. The matter is believed to be related to a love affair. According to Civil Line Police station in-charge, Kamlesh Sahu, no complaint related to the incident has been registered in the PS yet.
