Madhya Pradesh: In a shocking incident in MP’s Raisen district, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men, while her male friend was brutally beaten. Police said that two people had been arrested, while a search operation is underway to nab the third accused.
According to sub-divisional police officer Anil Mourya, the victim and her friend parked their two-wheeler on the roadside and entered the woods to sit and talk.
Reports revealed that a truck driver, identified as 21-year-old Sanju, was passing by when his vehicle encountered a problem. He then stopped and called his friends, Shivnarayan and Akshay, for assistance.

The trio later went inside the forested area to search for the vehicle owner after noticing it being parked on the roadside.
Things took a dark turn when the accused discovered the couple sitting there and raped the girl after beating her counterpart. They even seized the key to his motorcycle, according to the FIR.
The couple, however, made their way to the road and stopped a police team passing by, reports added. A case of gang rape was registered against Sanju Adivasi and his associates Shivnarayan Adivasi and Akshay Ahirwar under sections 376 (rape), 376D (gang rape), and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
