An official reported that a 25-year-old man from the nomadic community Pardi died after resisting an attempt to allegedly kidnap his sister in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, resulting in him being shot.

What Did The Madhya Pradesh Police Say?
Police stated that the incident occurred in the Dharnavada area, approximately 40 km from the district headquarters. Sub-Inspector Rajendra Singh, the in-charge of Dharnavada police station, reported that Dharampal Pardi was shot in the foot by an individual after he objected to an alleged attempt to kidnap his sister.
After being profusely bleeding, Dharampal was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, which then referred him to Bhopal for advanced medical treatment. He died during the journey to the state capital. The official stated that police have filed a murder case against seven to eight individuals and are currently making efforts to apprehend them. Additionally, the official added that the crime appears to be the result of an old enmity.
