Exit Polls 2024: With 29 constituencies in its kit, Madhya Pradesh is one of the most prevalent states of the Hindi belt but a lot has changed in MP around 2019. The state that was used to see ‘Mama’ Shivraj Singh Chouhan as its head for the last two decades has seen new faces after the 17th Lok Sabha elections.
Not only did Congress win the assembly elections in 2018 but Shivraj Singh lost the throne to Mohan Yadav despite BJP bagging the mandate in the 2023 assembly polls.
Madhya Pradesh added 28 constituencies to the NDA’s kit in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections while only one seat was won by the Congress party.
