Similar to the incident in Madhya Pradesh, a shocking case has emerged in Lucknow where an individual allegedly urinated on the face of a Dalit youth. The video capturing the incident is now circulating widely on social media.
The report suggests that the victim, a laborer, was asleep after his work. Allegedly, the accused, Sanjay Maurya, urinated on Rajkumar Rawat to wake him up. Following a complaint filed with the police regarding the incident, authorities assert they will take action.
As per the details provided, Rajkumar Rawat, along with his family, resides in the vicinity of Chandiya Kheda within the jurisdiction of Dubagga police station. He supports his family by working as a laborer nearby, engaging in the lifting of ballast during daylight hours.
On the day of the incident, the victim was asleep in the afternoon after having his meal. Allegedly, the accused Sanjay Maurya urinated on his face to rouse him and also recorded a video of the act. Furthermore, he shared the video with others.
Following this, the victim’s family reported the entire incident to the police. Authorities are currently investigating the matter and proceeding with necessary actions. According to DCP (West Zone) Durgesh Kumar, the case has been reported, and based on the video evidence, the victim’s family has lodged a complaint.
He mentioned that the investigation will ensue, following which the accused will be apprehended. The victim’s family, who are laborers, resides in the Dubagga area. It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred in Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh, in July last year, where the accused, Pravesh Shukla, urinated on tribal man Dashmat Rawat. Rawat later disclosed that the incident occurred in 2020.
