Mulayam Singh Yadav, who became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for three times, used to be a teacher and a muscular wrestler before entering into the politics. His moves in the arena became a topic of discussion in politics as well. Mulayam Singh Yadav has not been only the Chief Minister of UP but also the Defense Minister of the country.

He was born in a very simple family in Saifai village of Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. It is said that his father Sugar Singh wanted to make Mulayam a wrestler, but Mulayam’s luck was the pinnacle of politics.

The Brahmin had said – the child will illuminate the name of the family

According to media reports, when Mulayam Singh was born in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, his father called a Brahmin.  After reading Mulayam’s horescope, the brahmin predicted that this child (Mulayam) would go far and bring a good luck for the family. The brahmin forcasted that he would not only earn respect for himself but to bring many laurel, name and fame for his family as well.

Mulayam’s father did not pay much attention to these things and got him enrolled in the village school. His father wanted him to make a high-level  wrestler. As soon as he stepped on the threshold of youth, he also started learning the stakes of wrestling.

Started carrer as a teacher, used to go on bicycle

Mulayam Singh Yadav started his carear as a teacher. Along with teaching, he also used to do wrestling. Experts say that Mulayam’s dhobi paat was very popular in the akharas. Mulayam used to dust off the identity of a taller than himself in an instant.

In a similar fashion, he played many big bets in the field of politics and defeated the opponent in front. It is said that once a wrestling competition was organized in Mainpuri. Where Nathu Singh was impressed by Mulayam’s bets and cleverness in the arena. Nathu Singh also became Mulayam’s political mentor.

Contested MLA’s election at the age of 28

Nathu Singh taught Mulayam Singh Yadav the real tricks of politics. After this, at the age of 28, Nathu Singh fielded him from Jaswantnagar assembly seat on the ticket of Samyukta Socialist Party. Where Mulayam Singh won with good votes. Experts say that the Jaswantnagar assembly seat belonged to Nathu Singh. He had brought Mulayam here. At the same time, after joining politics, Mulayam Singh resigned from the job of a teacher.

The Samyukta Socialist Party was the party of Ram Manohar Lohia, whom Mulayam Singh considered his political mentor. Mulayam won the assembly elections in 1967, but Ram Manohar Lohia died in 1968. After the death of Lohia, Mulayam Singh Yadav became very worried.
