Kolkata: Bayron Biswas, the lone Congress MLA in West Bengal, joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Monday. the Ruling Party’s national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee welcomed him in TMC in Paschim Medinipur district.
Bayron, the MLA from Sagardighi seat in Murshidabad district, switched over to Mamata’s party during its ongoing mass outreach campaign- Trainamool eh Nabojowaar(New Wave in Trinamool).

Bayron Biswas had won on the ticket of the Indian National Congress in a by-poll held this year. In the 2021 Assembly election, Congress failed to win a single seat.
