Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress central leadership is likely to field youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar from North-East Delhi, pitting him against the BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, according to the Sources.

The meeting of the Congress Election Committee (CEC) in the national capital to take the decision on the three major seats for the general elections.
As far as Haryana is concerned, sources also stated that the grand old party is planning to field three time Lok Sabha member and two time Rajya Sabha member Raj Babbar from Gurugram against Rao Inderjit.
Earlier, the Congress party has unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, highlighting priorities such as job creation, infrastructure development, and conducting a national caste census.
Party leader Mallikarjun Kharge, accompanied by senior figures Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, presented the manifesto in Delhi.
Describing it as a “document for justice” in India’s political history, Kharge emphasized its significance, outlining its focus on five key pillars: youth, farmers, women, workers, and equity, with a promise of 25 guarantees.
