In Maharashtra, the Mahayuti government has finalized the allocation of all 48 seats. During this time, the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena decided to grant a ticket to the incumbent MP, Hemant Godse, for the Nashik seat. Chhagan Bhujbal, backed by the Ajit Pawar group, had long been vying for the Nashik seat, causing increased challenges for both the Shinde faction and the BJP.
