Locals Alert Cops After Witnessing Mother-Daughter Duo Attempt To Dump Body At Kolkata Ghat

Both women traveled between Barasat Kajipara and Sealdah station by train with the suitcase, as per police officials.

On Tuesday, a mother and Daughter pair were caught when they were trying to allegedly toss a body inside a trolley bag at Kumartuli Ghat in Kolkata.

According to Times of India, both women traveled between Barasat Kajipara and Sealdah station by train with the suitcase, as per police officials.

After taking a taxi from their location they reached the ghat so they could supposedly dispose of the body. The people living there started to doubt the women so they questioned them.

The women gave an reply that the suitcase held the decayed remains of their deceased pet dog. The women faced challenges when local residents stayed persistent in their inquiries leading to the collapse of their original story. After inspection it was discovered the deceased woman turned out to be the younger woman’s aunt-in-law.

Both women faced police arrest at the location where the body remained. The police are currently examining the case to establish both the reason and specifics of this criminal act.
