A student at the Bihta Campus of NIT Patna was discovered hanging in her hostel room last night. Originally from Andhra Pradesh, her body has been sent for a postmortem examination. Authorities recovered a suicide note from her room, and an investigation is currently ongoing, according to a police press release.
In a targeted operation, the Amritsar Rural Police arrested two suspects linked to a cross-border smuggling ring. They seized four Glock-26 pistols during the raid.
