Amid an impasse over the rape-murder of a junior doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, protesting medicos on Monday said they would attend a meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the CM’s Kalighat residence. This comes after Chief Secretary Manoj Panth sent an email to junior doctors, scheduling the meeting for 5 pm today. Holding a press conference, the doctors demanded “transparency”, asking for the meeting with the CM to be livestreamed or for videography to be allowed.
Junior doctors from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal, left the premises to attend a meeting with CM Mamata Banerjee at her residence.

A meeting of the AAP legislative party is scheduled for tomorrow, 17th September, at 11 am at the CM's house to decide on the new Delhi CM. Sources say CM Arvind Kejriwal is expected to submit his resignation to the LG at 4:30 pm tomorrow, and the new leader of the legislative party will be proposed as the next CM.

He explained that the wolf came from another terrace and attacked his brother while they were sleeping on the roof. Aman Raj Singh, the in-charge of the Central Water Commission in Ayodhya, has reported that the Saryu River is currently flowing 53 centimeters above the danger level. Singh attributed the rising water levels to heavy rainfall in the hilly regions upstream and the release of water from nearby dams.
