RG Kar Medical College Doctors Demand Transparency In Meeting With CM Mamata Banerjee

Amid an impasse over the rape-murder of a junior doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, protesting medicos on Monday said they would attend a meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the CM’s Kalighat residence. This comes after Chief Secretary Manoj Panth sent an email to junior doctors, scheduling the meeting for 5 pm today. Holding a press conference, the doctors demanded “transparency”, asking for the meeting with the CM to be livestreamed or for videography to be allowed.

Wolf Attack On 11 Year-Old Child In Bahraich, UP

Bahraich: 11-year-old boy attacked by a wolf reported that the attack occurred during the night. He explained that the wolf came from another terrace and attacked his brother while they were sleeping on the roof. Imran’s sister-in-law saw the attack and intervened by driving the wolf away with a stick. After discovering that the boy was bleeding, they immediately took him to the hospital. The incident happened around 2:30 am.
