Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been released from jail on Friday, following the Supreme Court’s order to grant him bail in the Delhi excise policy scam today. Amid heavy rainfall, Kejriwal was greeted with grand celebrations by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers and leaders outside Tihar Jail, Delhi.
According to ANI reports, AAP workers gathered outside CM Kejriwal’s residence in Delhi to dance and celebrate. Kejriwal was granted bail today by the Supreme Court in the Delhi excise policy case.
After coming out of Tihar Jail, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal stated that his courage has increased 100 times, post his release. "The prison walls cannot weaken the courage of Kejriwal," he remarked.

CM Arvind Kejriwal's lawyer, Rishikesh Kumar, explained that the Supreme Court granted bail with a few conditions. Kejriwal must submit a surety bond of ₹10 lakh, which is being arranged. He is also required to attend the trial on every scheduled date unless he requests an exemption. The other conditions are similar to those set in the Enforcement Directorate case.
