Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid has been released from the Tihar jail on an interim bail. He is out on bail till October 2, 2024, and has been granted the same by the NIA's special court.
Notably, Rashid defeated former CM of Jammu and Kashmir in the Lok Sabha polls. His son did rigorous campaigning for him while he was behind bars.
