New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday will declare the dates for Assembly Elections for five states; Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. The election committee will make the announcement of poll-bound states today (October 9) through a Press Conference.

However, the grand-old party-led government collapsed in the one fine noon of March 2020, a few days prior to Covid lockdown and BJP retained power in the state.
Congress had emerged as the single-largest party with 114 seats. There are a total of 230 constituencies in Madhya Pradesh.
