Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, conducted a thorough review of the security situation in Kupwara today, following his visit to the Line of Control (LoC) area of Tangdhar. The meeting aimed to assess the current challenges faced by the armed forces in the areas close to LOC and to reinforce the commitment to maintaining peace and security.
During his visit, LG Sinha engaged directly with the soldiers posted in the border area, expressing his gratitude for their unwavering dedication and courage in the face of recent skirmishes with Pakistan. To honor their service, LG distributed sweets to the troops, a gesture that resonated deeply with the personnel on the ground.
“Your bravery and resilience during these challenging times are commendable. It is essential that we stand together, not just as a government but as a united front against any threats to our sovereignty,” said Sinha while addressing the soldiers.
The Lieutenant Governor’s presence in the area close to Line of control served to uplift the spirits of the army troopers and other security forces, reinforcing their morale as they continue to safeguard the Valley.
