LG Sinha Announces Massive Anti-Terror Operation In Pahalgam After Deadly Attack

The security forces have launched a massive anti-terror operation in the Pahalgam area following a terror attack in the Baisaran area today afternoon. In a post on X, LG Manoj Sinha, said that aan nti-terror operation has been launched to neutralise terrorists.

“The entire nation is angry & the blood of our forces is boiling. I want to assure the nation that perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack will have to pay a very heavy price for their heinous act. My heartfelt condolences to bereaved families,” he said.

Terrorists attacked a group of tourists in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam today afternoon with many casualties feared in the attack, while official confirmation about the death count is still awaited.

Following the attack, Home Minister Amit Shah left for Srinagar to hold urgent meeting with all security agencies. He also briefed PM Modi, who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, over phone about the incident. Anantnag Police announces a 24/7 Emergency Help Desk for Tourists.
