Top Political Leaders Pay Emotional Tribute To Sitaram Yechury At CPI-M Headquarters In Delhi

The mortal remains of CPI(M) Leader Sitaram Yechury were carried to the party office on Saturday in a flower-adorned casket. Rich tributes were paid to the veteran leader at the party headquarters in AKG Bhavan, where his mortal remains were kept for public viewing. He was brought to the party office wrapped in a red flag of CPI, amid chants of ‘Lal salam.’

Among those who paid their respects to Yechury were political bureau members, AAP, Congress leaders, and others.

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was spotted paying tribute to the departed soul at the party office in Delhi.

Former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia and AAP MP Sanjay Singh paid their respect to the late CPI(M) Chief at AKG Bhawan in Delhi.

NCP-SCP chief Sharad Pawar was seen paying homage to Late Sitaram Yechury at the party headquarters.

CPI(M) Leader Sitaram Yechury passed away on 12th September at AIIMS, New Delhi. He was admitted to the emergency wing of AIIMS on August 19 and later shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
