Nepal’s Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has officially resigned, taking moral responsibility for the deaths of 19 people during Monday’s violent Gen Z-led protests. He submitted his resignation to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during an emergency cabinet meeting held on Monday evening at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. The protest which erupted on Monday, left 19 dead and over 250 injured, as confirmed by the Nepal’s Health Ministry.
