Punjab man held for allegedly sharing sensitive information to Pakistan's ISI

A 34-year-old Punjab resident, Prakash Singh alias Badal, was arrested in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s ISI. Police say he was in constant touch with ISI handlers through social media, collecting and sharing confidential information on Indian Army vehicles, installations, border topography and infrastructure across Rajasthan, Punjab and Gujarat. He also allegedly helped Pakistan create fake Indian WhatsApp accounts by providing OTPs from Indian mobile numbers, all for monetary gain. His arrest is the fourth under Operation Sindoor, and after interrogation and technical analysis, a case was filed under the Official Secrets Act, 1923.
