Seychelles, East Africa: High Commissioner of India to Seychelles Rohit Rathish says, "Prime Minister Modi's Vision of Mahasagar envelops the entire Indian Ocean. Indian Ocean is key to India's well-being and prosperity. 90% of our trade and volume passes through the Indian Ocean. Seychelles is an island country in the Indian Ocean, but it has a vast exclusive economic zone of about 1.4 million sq Kms. We have been partners in the past and will continue to be partners in the future on strengthening maritime security and defense ties, but also ties such as tourism, renewable energy... Being an island country, Seychelles focuses a lot on marine conservation, science... It is very important to Seychelles' economy, alongside tourism. So it will be our effort to try and partner in these areas as well."

Hathras, UP: Several persons in critical condition after consuming poisonous food. Community Health Centre Sikandra Rao's Dr Rajat says, "... We received a call regarding 11 to 12 individuals requiring medical attention. All of them were brought in by ambulance and are currently stable after treatment. Preliminary findings suggest that an infectious substance was present in a food item... Six patients have been admitted to the CSC in Sikandra Rao and are now in stable condition. Their health has improved. We have not received any official confirmation regarding the reported death of one woman; all other patients remain stable."
