BJP MP and National Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi says, "Today, in Supreme Court, the incident which took place in which the behaviour shown towards CJI BR Gavai - these types of incidents are highly condemnable in the eyes of BJP. Not only is this condemnable, but it hurts every Indian because this type of behaviour doesn't fall in line with the social tradition, constitutional grace and the cultural traditions of India. So, it hurts everybody. To uphold the dignity of the Constitutional post and values, it is the incumbent and inevitable duty of every Indian. PM Modi has also expressed his anguish on this incident. He has also praised that even at this moment, the level of calmness which has been shown by CJI Gavai is not just praiseworthy but it also shows his strong, unflinching and undeterred commitment to the high constitutional values."

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda's car collided with another vehicle in Undavalli, Jogulamba Gadwal district, while he was en route from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad today. His car sustained damage on the left side. However, there were no casualties in the accident.
According to police, "Actor Vijay Deverakonda was travelling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad in a car around 3 pm today when the front-moving Bolero vehicle suddenly turned right, causing his car to collide with the left side of the Bolero. The car sustained damage on the left side, but there were no casualties. Vijay Deverakonda and two others were in the car. He immediately got into another vehicle, and his team filed a complaint with the police for insurance purposes."

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: On a lawyer attempting to throw an object at CJI BR Gavai, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "However upset he may be with something, throwing a shoe at a judge, let alone on the CJI, is unforgivable and shocking. It should not have been allowed to happen. That too, a lawyer doing it when he has some knowledge of the law and the standards of the country, is truly deplorable. I stand with the CJI in this. The Kerala High Court has announced a special investigation team in the Sabarimala gold-plating case. Crime Branch chief ADGP H Venkatesh will oversee the investigation. S Sasidharan, who is also a former SP of Vigilance, will be in charge of the investigation. The team will consist of three inspectors. Cyber experts will also be part of the team. The High Court Devaswom Bench has directed the special investigation team to conduct the investigation strictly confidentially and not to disclose any information.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma ordered an investigation into the incident. A committee has been announced for the investigation. The committee will be chaired by Iqbal Khan, Commissioner, Medical Education Department. This committee will investigate the causes of the fire, the hospital management's response to the fire, the firefighting arrangements at the Trauma Centre and SMS Hospital, the safety and evacuation of patients in the event of a fire, and the measures to protect the hospital from such fires in the future and prevent recurrence, and submit a report.

A relative of the victim said, "It was my aunt's son. He was 25 years old and named Pintu... When smoke came out at 11.20 pm, we had informed the doctors that the patients might have problems. Then gradually the smoke increased. As the smoke increased, the doctors and those working downstairs in the compound all left. Then suddenly there was so much smoke that we couldn't remove the patients. Even then, we removed four or five patients... My aunt's son was there. He was fine. They were about to discharge him in a day or two...," says a person who lost a family member in the fire at Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS)."

Jaipur Hospital Fire- A significant fire broke out in one of the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) of the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur, killing six patients on Monday. Several others are reported to be injured with 5 in critical condition. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the hospital following the incident. The fire, attributed to a short circuit, resulted in the unfortunate loss of six lives, confirmed SMS Hospital Trauma Centre In-charge Dr. Anurag Dhakad.
