Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut commented on the assembly election results in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir, stating that while both states hold significance, Jammu & Kashmir was especially crucial for the BJP. He pointed out that the BJP's defeat in the region where they had revoked Article 370 was particularly noteworthy. Regarding Haryana, Raut criticized the Congress's strategy, suggesting that their overconfidence in winning without allies, like the Samajwadi Party, AAP, or other smaller parties, led to their defeat. He praised the BJP for effectively fighting a tough electoral battle, saying they "won a lost battle."

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, took to Twitter to thank the people of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the victory of the INDIA alliance in the region is a triumph of the Constitution and democratic self-respect. In Delhi, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stating that it is "stuck in the mud of corruption" and even surpasses Congress in this regard.
