Uttar Pradesh: 5 people were killed after a car and truck collided in the Madanpur police station area of Shahjahanpur district. Three people died on the spot while 2 died succumbed to their injuries during treatment in the hospital. Five others are injured. Shahjahanpur Police informed that the truck driver has been arrested.
In an X post, Jammu & Kashmir Police said that an encounter had been started in the Kadder area of Kulgam district. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details are awaited.
