Petition in High Court regarding summons
Tejashwi wanted the CBI to interrogate him through video conferencing. But the court, while hearing the petition on March 16, directed him to appear before the CBI on March 25. However, the court assured him that he would not be arrested.
If reliable sources are to be believed, it is expected that the ED will interrogate him for a long time. Please inform that in this matter many members of the Lalu family as well as people close to him have been questioned.
Prima facie of case
The CBI alleges that this investigation is being done to find out the investments made by Lalu Yadav’s family and their relatives in various fields including real estate. According to the CBI, Lalu Yadav, when he was the Railway Minister, had appointed various persons to Group D posts in the Railways. In return, land worth crores of rupees was sold to Lalu Yadav’s family members at throwaway prices.
