Land For Job Scam: Senior BJP leader Sushil Modi has demanded immediate dismissal of Tejashwi Yadav from the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. A charge sheet has been filed on Monday by the CBI against Tejashwi Yadav as well as his parents Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi in the job land scam case. Only after the charge sheet was filed, Sushil Modi demanded Nitish Kumar to sack Tejashwi Yadav from the post of Deputy CM and cabinet.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and BJP Rajya Sabha MP, Modi reminded Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of his stand that he would not compromise on corruption. Sushil Modi said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should immediately sack Tejashwi Yadav from the cabinet as the CBI has filed a charge sheet against the Deputy Chief Minister in a corruption case.

Sushil Modi reminds Nitish Kumar of fodder scam

Sushil Modi said that I want to remind Nitish Kumar that he and his party had demanded the dismissal of Lalu Yadav (from the post of Chief Minister of Bihar) after the charge sheet was filed in connection with the fodder scam. Explain that the CBI has filed a charge sheet in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court in the land scam case in lieu of job in Bihar.

Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and his family, along with many others, have also been made accused in the charge sheet. In this case, on May 18, the ED had questioned former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi. Rabri Devi was also questioned by the CBI in this case. He had recorded her statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in this case. In this case, ED has already questioned Tejashwi Yadav and Misa Bharti.

Land for job scam

Lalu Yadav was the Union Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. Land scam case in lieu of job is related to railway recruitment. It is alleged that Lalu Yadav, while being the Railway Minister in the UPA government from 2004 to 2009, gave jobs to people in exchange for land.

According to the allegation, Lalu Yadav, when he was the railway minister, had recruited many people for Group-D jobs in the railways without issuing advertisements. In return, people had to give land. In this case, CBI has registered a case against Lalu Yadav and his family.
