RJD supremo and former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav left Paras Hospital for home. He was admitted to hospital after his health deteriorated earlier on Wednesday.
RJD leader and Lalu’s son Tejaswi Yadav said, “…He is normal at present, he will be taken to the Delhi AIIMS soon for further treatment… ‘Lalu Yadav kaleje wale aadmi hain’…Soon, he will be fit and fine.”

Doctors brief media on Lalu’s health
Dr Prakash Sinha, HOD of Pulmonary Medicine, said, “He had fever also and he has been given medication for that. When he arrived, he was a little low, but soon he started responding to treatments and became alert… He talked to everyone. He has to go to Delhi today… His blood pressure has recovered.”

Surgery performed on Lalu in Singapore
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav had a kidney transplant surgery in Singapore in December 2022. Lalu’s daughter Rohini Acharya, who donated a kidney to her father, had shared an emotional post on Twitter and said that the RJD chief will leave for India on Saturday.
“An important thing to say. This important thing is about the health of our leader Lalu ji. Papa is going to India from Singapore on February 11. I am doing my duty as a daughter. After making my father healthy, I am sending him among all of you. Now you all will take care of my father,” Rohini Acharya tweeted.
