Amid the heavy rainfall in Delhi and Gurugram on Monday, residents are witnessing long queues of bumper-to-bumper traffic in Gurugram. Traffic has been crawling along for nearly 20 km as waterlogging choked the roads after the downpour.
The 7 km-long traffic jams only added to the long list of hardships commuters faced today, as even Metro services were hit by delays due to a signalling issue. Commuters affected by the chaos have taken their concerns to social media, with a barrage of posts on X showing the endless trail of traffic jams creeping through the heart of Gurugram. Users have been uploading videos of being stuck in the gridlock, sharing their frustration as they crawl along in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
