On Tuesday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge held a meeting with both the probable candidates DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah in New Delhi. Siddaramaiah arrived at Kharge’s residence accompanied by his son Yatindra and MLAs Jameer Ahmed, Bharati Suresh and senior leader KJ George.

Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar reached Delhi on Tuesday. Earlier he claimed that he would not resort to backstabbing or blackmail regardless of the party’s decision. If the party wants, it can give me the responsibility. I do not want to divide anyone here. Whether they like me or not, I am a responsible man. I will not backstab. I will not blackmail.
