A viral video of a boy asking for BIRYani and Fried Chicken instead of Upma has caught eyes of netizens. The video has received response even from Kerala’s Health, Women, and Child Development minister, Veena George. The boy in the video has been identified as Thrajul S Sankar, a kid of Anganwadi in Kerala. The video is recorded by his mother who later shared it on Instagram.
Toddler’s plea came while his mother was feeding him biryani at home. In the video, he is heard telling his mother, “I want biryani and chicken fry at the anganwadi instead of upma.” The video grabbed eyeballs quickly and prompted netizens to react to Sankar’s innocent demands.
Kerala Minister Responds
The moment became interesting, when Kerala Minister also took note of the video and shared her response to toddler’s demands. Kerala Minister Veena George said that the government would consider reviewing the menu at Anganwadis. She took account of Sankar’s suggestions and added, “Under this government, a scheme to provide eggs and milk through anganwadis has been successfully implemented. In coordination with the Department of Women and Child Development, local bodies provide a variety of foods in anganwadis.”
The viral video has received 125K likes on Instagram and is widely shared. Users called him ‘Biryani lover’ and shared cute responses in the comment section. They said that ‘biryani’ must be served.
