Shocking incident came in front in Kerala. Police of Pathanamthitta district initiated the investigation over alleged sexual assault of 18-year old athlete. They did this investigation over 60 men for allegedly assaulting the athlete.
Among those men comes the fellow sports person and the coaches of the athlete. Five people has been arrested under this case. They accused were allegedly sexually assaulted the girl for over 5 years.
As per media reports, the survivor mentioned that she was facing this since from the age of 13. This started when her neighbour showed her pornographic video forcefully.
The girl was later abused by the accused in the hill situated near their house and following this the girl was allegedly raped by his friends.
The information of the rape came to light when the girl reported to the Child Welfare Committee. In the preliminary investigation that took place around 62 individuals has been identified as the potential perpetrators. Cases on 40 individuals has been registered under POSCO act.
The police have arrested 5 people in this case. The individuals who have been arrested are identified as Subin, S Sandeep, VK Vineeth, Srini and K Anandu.
