The Kerala Police Arrested a YouTuber for allegedly having sexual relations with a woman under the false promise of marriage.
A police officer of Alappuzha South police station said YouTuber Hafiz Sajeev, also known as Thrikkannan, has been booked under sections 69 and 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The police registered an FIR after the woman approached them with a complaint that Sajeev had shot reels with her at various locations and had sexual relations under a false promise of marriage. The police said that after Sajeev refused to marry her, she complained to the police.
When the police interrogated the accused, the latter admitted that he had promised to marry her and he wanted to, but the woman was not ready to tie the knot with him.
The police have launched a probe into the matter, and it will take further actions accordingly.
