Kozhikode, Kerala: In a shocking incident that unfolded in Kerala’s Kozhikode district, a 29-year-old woman reportedly jumped from the 1st floor of a hotel to avoid a rape attempt by three individuals. A video released on Tuesday by the relatives of the victim shows her resisting the attack. The clip shows the woman pleading for help and asking to be left alone, according to reports.
Accused On The Run
The incident occurred on Saturday night around 10.30 pm when the woman accidentally turned on her phone camera while playing a mobile game. This inadvertently recorded the attack by her employer and two staff who are currently on the run. Unfortunately, the woman received a spinal injury along with other minor injuries.
Police Registers A Case Against Hotel Owner And...
At present, she is being treated at the Kozhikode Government Medical College, reports added. A case has been registered against the hotel owner and two staff and efforts are underway to nab the accused.

In yet another incident that took place in Greater Noida on February 2, 2025, a 44-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 21st floor of her building. The incident occurred at ACE City Society within the Thana Bisrakh area limits. According to the deceased’s family member, the woman was suffering from mental illness and was undergoing treatment for the same.
