Kerala: A dashcam video of a robbery on a National Highway near Peechi in Thrissur, Kerala, has gone viral. Police reported that a gang of 12 men stopped a car, kidnapped two people, and stole 2.5 kg of gold ornaments they were carrying.
Three cars were stationed to blockade the target car as the highway narrowed near a flyover under construction.

SUV Blocked, Men Kidnapped In Kerala
Three cars hemmed in the SUV with the two men sitting inside. Large numbers of men came out and kidnapped them.
FIR Filed Under BNS
The police had received a complaint on Wednesday and filed a First Information Report (FIR) under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), it was reported by PTI.
The FIR mentions that the incident occurred on September 22, when two young men, Arun Sunny and Rojy Thomas, were kidnapped.
The FIR further states that both the men were attacked and valuables worth ₹1.84 crores in jewelry were stolen. They were later released. Police are investigating the case.
