The time taken to reach one place to another is usually longer than the time taken to cover a similar distance on a plane area. Jammu and Kashmir is going to get a big gift in the form of a train. The train will Katra to Srinagar within a few hours.
Not one or two, but three trains will be running between Katra and Srinagar. Among the three trains, two are the express trains and one is Vande Bharat, as per media reports.
According to media reports, the trains running from Katra to Srinagar are likely to get started by the end of January 2025. The Vande Bharat train will depart from Katra at 8:10 am and will reach its destination around 11:20 am. The Express trains will depart at 9:50 am and will reach Srinagar around 3 pm.
